It’s important to start with Mat Pilates before progressing to the Reformer. Mat Pilates builds the essential foundations of core strength, alignment, and body awareness, which are key to performing Reformer exercises safely and effectively.
Reformer Pilates involves moving parts, springs, and resistance, which require a solid understanding of Pilates principles to avoid injury and ensure proper technique.
For your safety and the best experience, we recommend beginning with our beginner-friendly Mat classes to develop confidence and control before transitioning to the Reformer.
If you are unsure if you are at a level to try the Reformer, just ask the instructor for advice.
