Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is a low-impact exercise class that focuses on building core strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body awareness. Suitable for all fitness levels, this class offers options to adjust exercises to make them more or less challenging. Our experienced instructor will provide personalised modifications to ensure that each participant can work at their own pace and capability. The benefits of Mat Pilates include improving flexibility and balance, enhancing posture and alignment, increasing overall body strength, and promoting relaxation and stress relief.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates is a dynamic, full-body workout that uses a specialised piece of equipment called the Pilates Reformer. This low-impact yet highly effective method enhances strength, flexibility, posture, and core stability, whilst being fun and feeling amazing!

The Reformer machine consists of a sliding carriage, adjustable springs, straps, and pulleys, allowing for a wide range of exercises. The spring resistance can be modified to increase intensity or provide support.

We are currently only running 1:1 Private Reformer Sessions, keep an eye on our socials for updates on group classes. It is important to have had some experience with Mat Pilates before using the reformer, Mat Pilates builds core strength, body awareness, and proper alignment, all essential for safely using the machine. Mat work teaches breath control, stability, and precision, which helps with balance and coordination on the moving Reformer carriage. A foundation in Mat Pilates ensures better technique, reduces injury risk, and maximises results, therefore we ask that you have some Mat Pilates experience before trying our Reformer Pilates classes.

10 Week Beginner Mat Pilates Course

This is a great place to start your Pilates journey with our 10-Week Complete Beginner Pilates Course.
This comprehensive program is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of Pilates, helping you build a solid foundation in Pilates.

Each week, you'll progress through carefully structured lessons that cover essential Pilates principles, basic exercises, and proper form.

Meditation

Chair Based Exercise

Accessible class for anyone with mobility struggles or injury.  This class focuses on improving flexibility, strength, and balance through low-impact movements that are easy on the joints, Yoga/Pilates based. A supportive environment, be guided along the way.
